Unreal Media Server
Streaming of AVI, MPEG, WMV Files; Live Sources
Unreal Media Server is a streaming server for Windows designed to provide multimedia delivery over public networks. Both media files and live media streams are supported. File types include all the types playable by MS DirectShow.
Playlist functionality allows the ability to automatically play all the files of a server's virtual folder in loop mode.
Live media sources include: digital cameras, microphones, TV-tuners, analog video sources connected to video cards or to FrameGrabber cards that support the DirectShow interface. TCP, HTTP, RTP multicast transport protocols are supported. Live audio/video is encoded with the MP3/MPEG-4 codec in real time. There can be multiple live sources on a single computer.
Incoming content is not stored on client computer's hard disk and user is not allowed to save media locally, thus author's rights are fully protected. User logging provides a means to track user activity.
