ChangeAgent
Identifies And Fixes Bad Links And Orphaned Files
ChangeAgent helps Webmasters in the identification and correction of problem areas within their Web site. Specifically, ChangeAgent provides a single, integrated interface that allows Webmasters to both find and fix broken links on a Web site, as well as identify and eliminate unneeded orphaned Web pages.
According to information provided by Expandable Language, ChangeAgent is able to correct most problems it finds from directly within its interface; without the need for an external editor. Broken links can be replaced directly within the page without effecting the HTML or JavaScript coding of the page itself (ChangeAgent is also able to identify literal broken URLs within JavaScript code). Additionally, global replacements of broken links can be made across the site, with the software automatically recognizing URLs whether they are specified as absolute locations or relative locations and simultaneously correcting the link while preserving the absolute/relative nature of the original structure.
Additional features of ChangeAgent include support for multiple levels of undo/redo; orphan file identification, and preview capabilities for both orphaned files and files that contain broken links; batch removal of orphaned files; and a customizable interface.
ChangeAgent is available now for $199. A free, fully-functional 15-day trial version is available for download from the Expandable Language Web site (functionality is limited following the 15-day period). Visit the Expandable Language Web site for further details.
